The sculpture Upswing is one of Jacques Vanroose’s more playful sculptures. It expresses joy, playfulness and friendship, qualities that sometimes tend to get lost once we get caught up in the events of adult life in a modern society. Upswing is a study of the human body and a swing in motion which is rendered meticulously through the combined use of bronze and a braided cord.Our bronze sculptures are cast using the lost wax method. Upswing is a limited edition bronze sculpture, each piece is numbered and signed.
